Host Lukas Hassel  
Lukas Hassel is an actor, writer, and filmmaker, living in New York City. Born and raised in Denmark, he studied acting in The Samuel Beckett Theatre School, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.                      He was recurring most of season 8 on The Blacklist, NBC as bad guy Elias VanDyke. Also has appeared on Blue Bloods, Elementary, Law and Order, SVU and more. He’s been in feature films such as The Black Room, Art of the Dead, In Montauk, In Sickness and others. As a feature film writer, he has won the ScreenCraft Fellowship and CineStory Fellowship. Placed top 30 and 40 in the running for the Nicholl’s fellowship. As part of New York Stage and Film lab he was invited to workshop his TV pilot Galápagos at Vassar. The same TV pilot won the Shore Fund and Fresh Voices competitions. 
He writes drama, sometimes gussied up in horror, sci-fi or psychological thrillers. He wrote, directed and starred in the award-winning short films Into the Dark and The Son, the Father.
